No Federal Charges Against Police In Miles’ Case

WDUQ—The U.S. Department of Justice has decided not to file charges against Pittsburgh Police Officers Michael Saldutte, David Sisak and Richard Ewing in the January 2010 beating of 18 year old Jordan Miles of Homewood, an honors student at Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts High School.

Activists to Deliver Petitions to D.A. Zappala

Demand prosecution of the police who beat Jordan Miles


Pittsburgh, PA – Frustrated by the District Attorney’s failure to prosecute the police who beat Jordan Miles, activists from the Alliance for Police Accountability (APA) have been busy collecting signatures on petitions asking him to act. On Thursday, August 12, at 11am, the group will deliver several hundred of them to his office in room 303 of the courthouse on 436 Grant St. in downtown Pittsburgh. A brief rally outside the courthouse will take place before the delivery.
