WTAE—The Pittsburgh City Council has approved a set of bills that require cameras and microphones to be installed in police cruisers in the next five years. The moves also call for officers to be placed on paid leave if accused of using force that is investigated by the office of municipal investigations. The measure also encourages police to complete an accreditation process.
